Mt. Lemmon lies just to the North of Tucson, is home to the Sky Island city of Summerhaven, and is one of the largest Sky Islands in Southern Arizona. Cochise Stronghold is located in between Benson and Tombstone, about an hour and a half Southeast of Tucson. The Tucson area is also home to world-class resorts & spas as well as a wide array of trail systems that connect green spaces that are incorporated within it. Not to mention many other social events that are regularly scheduled during all times of the year!

Weather Resource

Due to the Sonoran desert environment, starting at or below 2,000 ft. elevation and going up to just over 9,000 ft, Tucson receives mainly sunshine with the standard Monsoon Season between mid-July to mid-September each year . It can and does snow on Mt. Lemmon and in Cochise Stronghold during the winter and rain often during the Monsoon season, so please be vigilant of convective weather (lightning-producing storms) during the summer months.
