AZWCC | Climb + Campout in Prescott

Welcome to AZWCC's Climb + Campout in Prescott, co-hosted with GMG!

We have prepared a weekend packed full of climbing, social events, and opportunities for everyone to have an incredible weekend outside. This weekend will include:
  • A Guided Trip of several different climbing areas around the Granite Dells, where you will have lots of opportunities to sample classic climbs while learning about the area. Many of these routes are also just a few minutes from the trailhead, but cater to a great variety of climbing styles. This Guided Trip of the Granite Dells will last approximately 6-hours!
  • After-Climb Social located in downtown Prescott. At the restaurant you'll be treated to dinner and beverages** with an opportunity to experience climber-related games!​​​​
  • Optional Saturday Evening campout and fireside chats that will take place in the serene Prescott Pines in White Spar Campground, located just 15 minutes from the downtown area. Camping gear rentals*** are available to be rented.
  • Sunday Morning Coffee + Climbs at Groom Creek Boulders! (Coffee supplied by Presta Coffee Roasters) This will include a Guided Tour of Groom Creek's classic areas with an Introduction to Bouldering session for anyone who is unfamilair with Bouldering and this style of climbing. Several areas with many routes, with a variety of difficulties will be explored in this session that will last approximately 4-hours. Crash Pads will be supplied!
  • Group lunch in Downtown Prescott at one of the many locally-owned restaurants with final thoughts and temporary fairwells! Please Note: This meal is not included in your booking.​

**Non-alcoholic beverages will be included in the Saturday evening dinner. Aloholic beverages will be available for additional purchase.

INCLUSIONS
  • All rock climbing gear (harness, helmet, rock shoes, etc.)
  • Guiding and Instruction with AMGA Certified Single-Pitch Instructors
  • Supplemental equipment available upon request

  • Transportation to Prescott, AZ
  • Hotel costs before, during, or after the outing
  • Guide gratuity
  • Lunch food with Snacks & Water
  • Personal hiking/climbing clothing and equipment
  • Costs associated with weather delays or other variables beyond the control of Granite Mountain Guides
