AZWCC | Climb + Campout in Tucson

Welcome to AZWCC's Climb + Campout in Tucson, co-hosted with GMG!

We have prepared a weekend packed full of climbing, social events, and opportunities for everyone to have an incredible weekend outside. This weekend will include:
  • Starting on Saturday afternoon you will be greeted at our Whitetail Campground group site where there is plenty of space to relax and take in the cool mountain air.
  • ​Saturday evening, dinner will be provided by the one and only Tucson Tamale, courtesy of the AZWCC. With fireside chats growing as the sun sets in the distance.
  • ​Sunday morning we kick it off with some fresh brews from Presta Coffee Roasters while a light breakfast is being served before we head out to the climbing areas for the day.
  • ​Light snacks and light lunch items will also be provided to keep you fueled and stoked!
  • We'll head out to sample a few of the local crags, while maximizing the fun factor by having GMG set up some classic climbs and showcase any topics you wish you dive into.
  • Mid-way through the day we'll transport over to another scenic climbing area, where we can take in the sights and more unique climbing routes.
  • ​After we wrap up with climbing into a beautiful AZ sunset, we'll head down the mountain to enjoy a final group dinner back in Tucson provided by the AZWCC.

We can't wait to see you out there on the rocks with us for this annual experience!

**Non-alcoholic beverages will be included in the Sunday evening dinner. Aloholic beverages will be available for additional purchase.

***At check-out, please select your Gear Rental selections of: Tent, Sleeping Bag, and/or Sleeping Pad as an "Add-On"
Campout + Meals Only option is available if you wish to climb on your own on Sunday, June 4th!

​This will include all of the above except:
  • Climbing equipment
  • Climbing instruction

*Unfortunately, you will not be able to apply an AZWCCMEMBER discount to Camp + Meals only.

Trip Location

INCLUSIONS
  • All rock climbing gear (harness, helmet, rock shoes, etc.)
  • Guiding and Instruction with AMGA Certified Single-Pitch Instructors
  • Supplemental equipment available upon request

EXCLUSIONS
  • Transportation to Tucson, AZ
  • Hotel costs before, during, or after the outing
  • Guide gratuity
  • Lunch food with Snacks & Water
  • Personal hiking/climbing clothing and equipment
  • Costs associated with weather delays or other variables beyond the control of Granite Mountain Guides
