A Womxn's Day on Mt. Lemmon

Ready to experience one of Tucson's unique treasures, but unfortunately don't have a full day to commit to it? That's perfectly okay!

Mt. Lemmon has the highest concentrations of climbing routes in Arizona. With a full range of opportunities from 3,000ft up to 9,000ft, it is a guaranteed great adventure! All of that adventure comes with easy access as well, with the vast majority of climbing areas accessible with only a 10-30 miunute walk from the car. As an added bonus, there are an extensive amount of routes that provide breathtaking views of the Sonoran Desert and surrounding Sky Islands with every step up. 
In a half-squeeze of Mt. Lemmon, we will explore 1-2 areas over the duration of approximately 5 hours. Since there are a plentiful amount of great climbing areas on Mt. Lemmon, we work with our clients to create a personalized climbing trip that caters to their skillset and aspirations. This information can be discussed before or after trip booking.

Common Trip Itinerary

  • Meet at the base of Mt. Lemmon
  • Introductions and greetings with brief of the day
  • Equipment checks and fitting
  • Drive up & Approach initial climbing area
  • Climbing!
  • Approach secondary climbing area
  • ​Climbing!
  • Descend back to the the base of Mt. Lemmon while debriefing the day

Trip Meeting Location

INCLUSIONS
  • All rock climbing gear (harness, helmet, rock shoes, etc.)
  • Guiding and Instruction with an AMGA Certified Single-Pitch Instructor and Apprentice Alpine Guide or Apprentice Rock Guide
  • Supplemental equipment available upon request

EXCLUSIONS
  • Transportation to Tucson, AZ
  • Hotel costs before, during, or after the outing
  • Guide gratuity
  • Lunch food with Snacks & Water
  • Personal hiking/climbing clothing and equipment
