Megan's Bio

Owner

Megan is an experienced outdoor industry professional with over nine years in partnership development, operations, and community engagement. Before acquiring GMG, she worked with organizations such as NOLS Wilderness Medicine, Sierra Mountaineering International, and H2O Heli Guides, where she managed government and corporate partnerships, oversaw client services, executed marketing strategies, and supported field operations.
Although not a lead guide, Megan brings assistant guiding experience and a strong understanding of technical rock climbing and outdoor programming. She has worked closely with land agencies, outdoor educators, and community partners, helping create safe, meaningful experiences for adventurers of all levels. Her background includes previous Wilderness First Responder training, search and rescue volunteer work, and years spent climbing, snowboarding, and exploring mountain environments across the West.
Driven by a commitment to client care, access, education, and community, Megan is passionate about expanding GMG’s impact while honoring the strong foundation built by its founder. She is dedicated to elevating guest experience, growing youth and family programming, and supporting responsible recreation throughout Arizona.
