The Prescott quad-city area is embedded in the Prescott National Forest, and surrounded by the Bradshaw Mountains, Thumb Butte, and of course Granite Mountain. Within the Prescott area also lies several city parks and private lands that all cater to a wide array of climbing styles and provides exceptional diversity.

Weather Resource

Due to the mountainous environment, sitting at or above 5,000 ft. elevation, Prescott receives a variety of weather. It does snow in the winter and rain during the Monsoon season, so please be vigilant of convective weather (lightning-producing storms) during the summer months.
